Hemlock Resort is now hiring certified ski/snowboarding instructors of all levels for the 2011/2012 season.
Hemlock Resort has the largest, most varied and the best off-piste powder riding of all the mountains in the lower mainland. Hemlock Valley is BC’s best kept secret: located east of Vancouver in Agassiz BC, it avoids the massive crowds, line ups and allows for fresh lines well into the afternoon.
Hemlock’s facilities include 2 double chairs, 1 triple chair, 1 handle tow and a huge and well maintained terrain park. We have over 1300' of vertical. The mountain is an even mix of black diamond, blue, green, groomed and ungroomed runs, allowing all types of lessons.
Daily sessions allow for improvement of instructor teaching and riding techniques throughout the season. Our tight knit snow school is the heart and soul of the resort and allows for lasting friendships!
There is staff transportation available daily to and from the Fraser Valley. We also have a limited number of spaces in our staff accommodation on hill. International applicants welcome.
Teaching wages start at $12 per hour for level 1 instructors and increase depending on certification and experience. A lucrative commission system adds to your salary. A seasons pass, uniform and other bonuses are included. For hard working enthusiastic ski and snowboard pros this is a great place to build your teaching career.
