Week One done… P-h-h-h-e-www!!! New friendships made, jet-lag slept off, skis and boards bought, lift pass photos taken, instructors met, one 21st birthday celebrated…the first week of a SnowSkool course is a very hectic time for students and staff alike and the weekend break is always heralded in with a large slice of relief, washed down by a couple of pints of the local brew!Read entry
Banff 2010 - Week 14
The majority of our Snowskoolers are sitting on a plane destined for Britain as I write. A few students will remain out here in Canada to finish out the rest of the season so the goodbyes were rather hard yesterday as they managed to cram themselves and all their baggage onto one bus which would kindly deliver them to Calgary airport.Read entry

Banff 2010 - Week 12
Hello and welcome to our final week of lessons!
The first four days this week were practice teach extreme with every group member having a chance to go through a lesson while having the opportunity to ask their instructors anything if need be. On Friday, the instructors made the day into a fun day for each of the groups. One of the snowboard instructors, Kaz, made each person lead the group and decide a theme for the run. Some examples of themes that were used were: G-nar, Harmony, Rad & Rock Out. Fun, fun, fun!Read entry
Big White 2010 - Week 11
And so to our final chapter. Just as we knew the final Sunday night after the exams was going to be a big one, we also knew Monday morning was going to be a toughie! There was many a tired SnowSkooler about and only a few ventured out to have a run or two.Read entry

Big White 2010 - Week 10
Apart from the pressure of the looming Level 2 ski instructor and snowboard instructor exams, there were other signs the season in Big White was drawing to a close. The sun continued to shine, melting away the precious snow and making it icy in the mornings and soft in the afternoons.Read entry
