With level 2 exams approaching fast, the SnowSkoolers' focus for their penultimate week of training switched back to teaching. They focused on how to build a lesson around a client's wants and needs - be that on groomed terrain, trees and bumps or freestyle tips and tricks. This will help them to ensure customer satisfaction with their teaching once they are level 2 qualified instructors.
Out of class we have had a couple of impressive freestyle performances, with Dan N on snowboard and Sam S on skis managing to land backflips with video evidence. I've been watching these on repeat, steeze at its best!
Friday night was the weekly group dinner which we had this week at Snowshoe Sam's. The group arrived early to sink a few beers before dinner and then continued on afterwards. It was a tough week for everyone though so many decided to take it easy instead and look towards next week's final week of teaching.
Next week will be a mock exam week so that the students know what to expect from exams. Rest up well gang; you'll need to make the most of the last week with your trainers.
Good luck, we’ll be back in touch soon…
