Can’t believe we’re at the half way point already! Time really does fly when you’re having fun! This week started off with some fresh pow and beautiful blue skies all week. Its been spring weather with the temperature getting warmer, so most swapped their jackets for hoodies at the end of the week!
As BASI Level 2 exams are approaching faster and faster, the time is looming to go ahead and book on. All the SnowSkoolers are getting stuck in with shadowing in the morning then back into tuition in the afternoons. The instructors are still pushing everyone with their skiing, riding, drills and teaching before the half term begins and everyone must work shadow and then their final training week before the exams.
After a long hard week shadowing and tuition everyone met at Ronnie’s, the snowboarders got an end of week debrief from their instructor with some constructive feedback for them to work on. Then, of course, après went ahead in the glorious sunshine at Ronnie’s. Once the sun had gone in we all moved and carried on at Meribar to enjoy the band ‘the Wingmen’.
Thursday was Rory’s birthday, but celebrations went ahead on Friday evening with their usual competitive beer pong. Some of the other SnowSkoolers went to the Tsaretta where Harvey, who’s quite the singer and plays the guitar, got up on the open mic for a few songs!
With the amazing weather we are having, a big group decided to head out early on Saturday and head over to Val Thorens for a group ski and snowboard! Most headed to the park for the day and everyone was trying out new tricks, some pretty impressive!
