Slopes

By itself, Zell am See is not a huge ski area but, for 2016/ 17 season, the new cable link is expected to be completed to link Zell/ Kaprun up to the Skicircus resorts of Saalbach, Hiterglemm and Fieberbrunn. With 380km of pistes, this will be the largest ski area in Austria. The glacier at Kaprun also ensures a very long season of skiing. In Zell, the terrain is broken down equally between beginner/ intermediate/ expert terrain and there is a half-pipe on Schmittenhohe and a terrain park by the Hochmaisbahn.
