We have been asking you to share your #ski & #snowboard selfies with us throughout 2014 for a chance to appear on our Facebook header and WIN a week in Meribel.

Congratulations to our latest Legend of the Month, Ryan Lawlor! Ryan’s photo is up on our Facebook wall now.  Here, we find out a bit more about our latest cover star of the month…

SnowSkool:  Tell us a bit more about your #SnowSkoolLegend photo and what memories you have from it...
Ryan: This was taken at Le Des Alpes this January, just before an afternoon session at Pano Bar. I was on a group holiday with Cirencester Young Farmers. The last afternoon was spent partying at the Pano bar before racing down the hill on our last run of the holiday. The picture was taken just before we set off.

SnowSkool: What’s the best resort you have skied or snowboarded in?
Ryan: To be honest probably Le Des Alpes. I hadn’t been in a few years so I’m at a better age to experience the entirety of the resort. I can’t wait to discover other amazing resorts in the upcoming years though.

SnowSkool: What’s your favourite piece of ski gear and why?
Ryan: I havent really got much ‘gadget'y' gear but have a Ruroc helmet which my friend custom designed so I’d say that’s my favourite.

SnowSkool: What SnowSkool course would you love to do or have you already done?
Ryan: I haven't done a course yet but heading too Banff in January 2015 for the instructor course, absolutely buzzing already. Having had friends go off to uni and go travelling, I needed something like that in my life. Doing a ski course offers so much more, and then hopefully -fingers crossed – I’ll slowly travel the world, in particular the world of ski resorts whilst instructing.

Well done to Ryan! We will look forward to meeting you on the Banff 2015 course!
