So you’ve booked your one-way flight to one of the most beautiful resorts in the Three Valleys- Méribel. You’ve unpacked your bag, met your housemates, and now you’re wondering: what next?
Don’t worry- we’ve got you covered.
From Monday night bingo to champagne-fuelled après, SnowSkool Reps like Tyler (read more about his wildest events here) are the reason you’ll never be short of plans.
1. The Essentials
Not gloves. Not goggles.
The Den.
Monday night Rock ‘n’ Roll Bingo will have you dancing on bar stools while juggling Shazam and a pint. It’s a skill only a few master.
2. Après-Ski Hits
This wouldn't be a worthy cheat sheet without the lowdown on our favourite bars:
- Jacks- Live music, great food, and even better hot chocolates.
- Ronnies- Ski in, ski out. Huge umbrella. Slide down to the loos. What’s not to like?
- LDV- Where you discover toffee vodka. Probably a good thing you need to get the bus out.
- La Folie Douce- Fabulous outfits, champagne showers- a rite of passage for any seasonaire.
3. Night Out? Let’s Go
- Beer and Burgers, Altitude- Free burgers, free beers, just up from the main strip. Say less.
- The Tav- 10/10 live music and sweet seasonaire discounts.
- Sully’s- Underneath The Den. Great DJs, rave vibes.
4. When You’re Craving More Than Tartiflette
- Grrizzly & Co (Courchevel)- Hands down the best burgers over the ridge.
- Roc Seven- Sweet spot for ski-in, ski-out, Italian-inspired lunch.
- Sk’Ewok (Val Thorens)- Worth skiing over to VT just for some stunning Asian food.
5. Time off The Slopes
- Olympic Centre Spa- Your legs will thank you. Don’t miss the Zen Room.
- Paragliding (with skis/snowboard)- Unreal views, stomach-dropping fun.
- Tobogganing- Don't underestimate the little red sledge. This thing can go fast.
