The first week of 3 Valleys Snowskool has gotten off to a great start.

We arrived to our respective chalets in time for Sweet and Sour pork cooked by our lovely chalet hosts.

Overnight, we had 20cms of fresh Powder. The students woke up to a beautiful blue bird morning and we made most of the conditions before the weather set in. We had our first lesson which discussed the fundamental elements of skiing/snowboarding practice. Breaking down the technical elements of skiing/snowboarding was difficult at first but the students responded well to the challenge.

Particular standouts were Grace, Nathan and Liam although everyone performed extremely well.

For the next 2 days, the resort received a solid dumping – around 50cms of fresh powder.

The students woke on Friday 19th to an all time day of activities on the mountain.

With a brief period of low cloud, the skies cleared up for an afternoon of hoots, laughter and waist deep powder which everyone enjoyed.

Adrian, Jock and Ella tackled the challenge of riding Piste skis through this snow. Its safe to say they had their work cut out for them.

After a busy, long first week of activities, all students are a little tired and were looking forward to a weekend of rest, recuperation and fun.

Bring on week 2 of Snowskool 3 Vallees 2024!!!
