Working out how to travel to your instructor course? These travel-related questions feature in our FAQs! (Click to see more frequently asked questions). Hopefully this information, on flying and driving to resort, is helpful - but please get in touch if you have more questions.
Are flights included in a SnowSkool course?
Return flights are included in the package for our customers from the UK for all SnowSkool courses in Canada (Banff and Big White). For all flight inclusive packages, all monies paid are protected under our company’s ATOL certificate.
For customers from the UK on the SnowSkool courses in Three Valleys, France, New Zealand & Zell am See, Austria, flights are not included in the package. We do encourage customers to book their flights through SnowSkool, however, so that your package becomes flight inclusive so that your monies are protected under our company’s ATOL certificate.
We are unable to provide flights from customers originating from outside the UK.
Can I book onto a Canada course without flights?
Yes, sure thing! Please ask the SnowSkool team for a course price without flights.
Can I drive out to the Three Valleys course... is there somewhere to park?
We have some available parking spaces in Méribel, but can’t commit to offering one to everyone! There are outdoor spots, in town, where you can park for free which we can help you with – but it does mean you need to move your car periodically. If you want to 'lock up & leave' it for the season - we'd recommend paying for an indoor car park. There's quite a lot of good info on this site: www.seemeribel.com/parking
Top tips for parking in a ski resort, from The Chalet Company:
- Leave your car in a gear
- Park facing downhill and turn your wheels towards the kerb to act as a brake
- Leave the handbrake off (the cables can freeze and snap)
- Lift windscreen wipers up so they don’t freeze to the windscreen
- Take a note of where you parked in case your car is hidden under a heavy snowfall!
Hopefully these answers help you on your way to a SnowSkool course
