How did Snowtrax begin life?
Snowtrax originally opened back in 1989! The business has always been first and foremost about one thing, Skiing and Snowboarding! Since then, our retail business has grown and grown and we're now one of the largest independent ski and snowboard retailers in the UK!

At Snowtrax Ski and Snowboard Store, we strive to offer the very best equipment, clothing and accessories, combined with the very best in knowledge. #wetestweknow is one of our mantras, and we really believe that guiding our customers with decades worth of product knowledge - means that our customers get everything they need tailored to their needs.
How would you persuade our readers to pay your store a visit?
Knowledge, Customer service and our expert Ski Boot fitting department "The Boot Lab"! Our store in Dorset, stocks everything you could need for a ski or snowboard holiday, and our friendly team actually test the products we stock. Both out on industry ski and snowboard tests, and day to day - here at Mt. Snowtrax!

Tell us about the 5 acre site and alpine adventure – looks fab
Snowtrax Ski and Snowboard Store is a part of Snowtrax Alpine Activity Centre. We are a year round outdoor ski and snowboard facility! To date, we have taught thousands of people how to ski and snowboard - with kids starting here from the age of 3! Our outdoor ski slope is complete with tow lift, freestyle features, it's own race club AND our special synthetic surface called Proslope! It's easily the best surface out their and miles ahead of the surfaces of old! We also have a range of outdoor activities for children of all ages, from our bespoke Ringo (tubing) lanes - to our absolutely WILD Alpine Adventure Park, featuring swings, slides, zip lines, trampolines and a life sized Pirate Ship! We also have the Alpine Pub, serving tasty meals - often inspired by the mountains and real ales! Based in Christchurch, Dorset - we're definitely worth the visit!
