Is there any written work on the course?

No. You will have to fill in some work sheets and you will have to refer to the course manuals provided by BASI, CSIA, CASI, NZSIA or SBINZ but, other than that, all the work you do and all your assessments will be done on your skis or snowboard on-snow!
